Ricardo Espinosa’s work is an excursion around the metropolitan area of Madrid. In a kind of 21st-Century Grand Tour, the series records the incomplete leftovers of excessive urban development. The images accumulate a set of landscapes devoid of human activity that are increasingly characterized by a new form of entropy in the hands of nature.
